Dave and I were invited by the beautiful Maxime to sing for Swami Atmachaithanya (from Kerala in India) in his few days in Perth last week. We fell in love with Swamiji's sweet and simple nature, and we learned a lot about singing bhajans the more traditional Indian way. It was light hearted and uplifting- they sing very fast and dynamically! Swamiji told us that just like when we make a phonecall to talk to someone, singing bhajans, and the many names of God that we sing in them, is connecting to God. He blessed Dave and I and encouraged us to keep singing and singing, and we have every intention of doing so!
